Note: I’m still working on this recipe… Try at your own risk!
Here’s my methodology. Instant pot it quick cook, then move to fryer so you get the crust.
Ingredients
- 2 cups White Flour
- 4 teaspoons Paprika
- 3 teaspoons White Pepper
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Celery Salt
- 1 teaspoon Dried Mustard
- 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 2/3 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Basil
- 1/2 teaspoon Thyme
- 1/3 teaspoon Oregano
Directions
- Preheat deep fryer to 375
- Brush oil on chicken pieces and place in instant pot, first the dark meat then the breasts.
- Pressure Cook for 10 minutes.
- Quick Pressure Release
- While taking pieces out, bread with flour mix and drop in fryer.
- Remove when browned.
