Fried Chicken Seasoning

Note: I’m still working on this recipe… Try at your own risk!
Here’s my methodology. Instant pot it quick cook, then move to fryer so you get the crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups White Flour
  • 4 teaspoons Paprika
  • 3 teaspoons White Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Celery Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 2/3 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1/3 teaspoon Oregano

Directions

  1. Preheat deep fryer to 375
  2. Brush oil on chicken pieces and place in instant pot, first the dark meat then the breasts.
  3. Pressure Cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Quick Pressure Release
  5. While taking pieces out, bread with flour mix and drop in fryer.
  6. Remove when browned.
