Dry Ingredients
- 3 cups Flour
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 3/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
Wet Ingredients.
- 3/4 cup Butter
- 1 cup Milk
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 450
- Combine all dry ingredients
Directions
- Cut butter into dry mixture.
- Make a well in the center and pour in milk all at once.
- Mix with a fork until combined.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
- Knead until fully combined.
- Flatten to 3/4 inch thickness.
- Cut with 2-1/2 inch round cutter.
- Place on cookie sheets and bake 8-9 minutes.
