Sara’s Flaky Biscuits

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients
  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon Cream of Tartar
Wet Ingredients.
  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Milk

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 450
  • Combine all dry ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut butter into dry mixture.
  2. Make a well in the center and pour in milk all at once.
  3. Mix with a fork until combined.
  4. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface.
  5. Knead until fully combined.
  6. Flatten to 3/4 inch thickness.
  7. Cut with 2-1/2 inch round cutter.
  8. Place on cookie sheets and bake 8-9 minutes.
