Apple Mixture
Ingredients
- 5 large Granny Smith Apples chopped
- 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
- 1/4 teaspoons Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice
Directions
- Put all ingredients in a sauce pan and cook on medium-high heat until Apples release moisture
Note: about 15-20 minutes. - Add 2 Tablespoon Arrow Soot Powder.
Note: or 2 Tablespoon Corn Starch - Continue to cook on low until thickened
Note: about 3 minutes.
Topping
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/3 cup Flour Blend
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla
- 1 teaspoon Water
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 6 tablespoons Butter
Directions
- Toast Oats at 400°F for 3-5 minutes on the middle rack
- Pulse 1/2 cups Oats, Flour, Sugars, Vanilla, Water, and Salt until combined.
- Sprinkle Butter until large crumbly balls.
- Pinch topping to 1/2 inch pieces.
- Sprinkle over fruit
- Bake for 25-35 minutes, rotate halfway
- Allow to cool for 15 minutes.
