Striped Delight

From Cathy Stamets, Serves 12-15

Shopping List

  • 1/3 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 2 packages Chocolate Instant Pudding
  • 2 tubs Cool Whip
  • 1 8oz package Cream Cheese
  • 1-1/2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1 quart of Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar

Cracker Crumb Base

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Melted Butter or Margarine

Directions

  1. Combine Ingredients
  2. Press firmly into 13x9in pan
  3. Chill 15 minutes

Cream Cheese Layer

Ingredients

  • 1 (8oz) package Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Milk
  • 1-1/2 cups Cool Whip

Directions

  1. Beat Cream Cheese, 1/4 cup Sugar, and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth
  2. Fold in 1-1/2 cups Cool Whip
  3. Spread over crust.

Pudding Layer

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (4 servings) Chocolate Instant Pudding
  • 3-1/2 cup Milk
  • 1-1/2 cups Cool Whip

Directions

  1. Prepare Pudding using only 3-1/2 cups Milk.
    NOTE: As directed on package
  2. Pour over cream cheese layer
  3. Chill for several hours or overnight
  4. Spread 1-1/2 Cups Cool Whip over pudding
  5. Garnish if desired
