The Family nearby favorite!
Jemez Falls campground is a great spot to go for the Wolf Pack. Only 75 miles away, even the TV can make tow there, drive around, and back within a tank of gas. The campground is all paved so even the least enthusiastic camper doesn’t need much to make it a weekend outdoors. The Wolf Pack loves it as it’s a site we go every year and in fact, it was here we “soft-opening” the TT.

The campground is named Jemez Falls due to its proximity to the Jemez Falls outlook. The trail is less than a mile hike and you see a gorgeous water fall. People do day-use at the picnic site and unfortunately it could show. The campground is easy to maneuver around and the spots are wide openings of Ponderosa pines.

Things to do
The East Fork of the Jemez River, which the Jemez Falls is a part of is also great for hiking, fly fishing, and soaking, either in the river or surrounding hot/warm springs that feed it. We frequent the Las Conchas trail to walk in the river and soak up what nature has in store.
Campground Details
We liked site 14 loop 1, It is a middle site but its boundary is huge. We’ve camped there the most.
