Design Requirements
With Elaina growing so fast and beginning to reach and move, Mom and Dad thought it would be wise to begin baby proofing the house. The first concern are the kitchen cabinets but the second concern is the Entertainment Center. Prior to this cabinet, Mom had a two shelf glass set up. The computer and subwoofer was put on either side of the shelving. The PS3 and VHS was on the bottom shelf and the surround sound console sat on top along with the center speaker. This fully exposed the wiring which included the power lines for each device.
The design requirements are as such:
- Must be aesthetically matched with the current interior design
- Must be able to fit current and future (to the best predicted) appliances
- Must fit under the tv
Other design features:
- Build in mid-tower computer case spacing
- Build in surround sound cubby
- Build in remote drawer
- Build in wiring storage
