{"id":43,"date":"2019-01-05T09:19:31","date_gmt":"2019-01-05T16:19:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ngfamily.dynu.com\/ngwiki\/?p=43"},"modified":"2022-09-01T15:54:02","modified_gmt":"2022-09-01T21:54:02","slug":"carne-adovada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ngfamily.freeddns.org\/ngwp\/?p=43","title":{"rendered":"Carne Adovada"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Total Time: 1 hr 45 min<\/strong><br>Prep: 15 min<br>Cook: 1 hr 30 min<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ingredients<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2-1\/2 pounds Pork Shoulder or Cushion<\/li><li>16 ounces Water<\/li><li>6 Garlic Cloves, peeled and roughly chopped<\/li><li>1 medium Onion, peeled and chopped<\/li><li>1 tablespoon Salt<\/li><li>Pinch freshly Ground Black Pepper<\/li><li>Pinch dried Oregano<\/li><li>3 ounces Red Chile Pepper, coarsely chopped<\/li><li>2-1\/2 ounces Red Chili Powder<\/li><li>Romaine Lettuce Leaves, rinsed and dried, for serving<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Directions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Preheat oven to 400F.<\/li><li>On a cutting board, cut the Pork into 1-1\/2 inch cubes and place it in a roasting pan (approximately 13&#215;21 inch).<\/li><li>Put the Water into a blender; add the Garlic, Onion, Salt, Black Pepper, Oregano, Chile Pepper, and Chili Powder.
